These I will bring to my holy mountain and give them joy in my house of prayer, their burnt offerings and sacrifices will be accepted on my altar; for my house will be called a house of prayer for all nations.
— Isaiah 56:7

What is David's Tent?

Each Sunday, beginning at 9:30AM, we worship and pray in the sanctuary before our main service. We call this time of worship 'David's Tent' (Amos 9:11; Isaiah 56:7).  Our focus is to minister to God’s presence, fixing our gaze upon Him (Psalm 27:4). We typically pray according to the scriptures, most commonly from the Psalms. Feel free to stand or sit, sing along or meditate, to read your bible or dance.  David's Tent prayer and worship concludes ten minutes before our main service at 11:00AM.

In that day I will restore David’s fallen shelter - I will repair its broken walls and restore its ruins - and I will rebuild it as it used to be...
— Amos 9:11

Children

Please supervise your children if they stay with you during David's tent.  At the end of the wide hallway off of the foyer is our nursery for infants.  It is not staffed at this time, however you are welcome to make yourself at home! It is equipped with a stereo system that you can use to hear the worship and prayer while you comfort your baby.
